You can manually send or schedule one-time push notifications in your app builder under Notification>Send. This is where you can customize the message, action, and audience for the push notification. You will have the opportunity to preview before sending or scheduling.

TIME ZONE SETTINGS

When you schedule push notifications through the app builder, you can choose to have users receive them in their local time zone, i.e. if you schedule a push notification for 12:00pm and I live in California, I will receive this notification at 12:00pm Pacific Time.

BEST PRACTICES

Here is a growing list of tips to guide you on manually sending push notifications:

• Our best practice is to send a minimum of 3-4 push notifications per week to your audience. Automated Push Notifications can help you get there!
• Keep push notifications short and sweet. Anything lengthy or complicated may discourage users from clicking and taking the desired action.
• Use ChatGPT or other AI to help generate push notification content. Sample prompt: “Write 15 different versions of affirmations that include positivity and reminders to take care of yourself with yoga. Each one should be short (less than 150 characters) and include one emoji.”
