This feature allows push notifications to be sent automatically when new content is published within a specific section of your app. This is different from manually sending or scheduling push notifications under Notification>Send.

<aside> ⚠️ Automated push notifications will only go out for content that has a writing date less than 24 hours in the past, eg. if you start a draft on August 1st and want to publish the item on August 8th, update the writing date to August 8th or use the scheduling feature.

In the backend app builder, navigate to Notification > Push > Schedule.
Select the section for which a push notification will be sent each time a post is published.
[optional] Add a prefix to your alerts, e.g. “New Podcast Episode!” No need to add an extra space after the prefix.
Customize your target audience, when users receive notifications, and notification sounds.
[optional] Toggle on the badge display, which will signal to users that there’s unread content waiting for them in the app:
Click the green “Schedule” button in the bottom-right corner to confirm.
<aside> ⚠️ Notifications for the calendar section will be pushed on the date the event starts, not when it's published.
