Below is some basic guidance around ad strategy to promote downloads and user engagement for your mobile app.

Facebook & Instagram

Make sure you have a OneLink for your app. Create a standard Facebook or Instagram ad with a download call-to-action to this OneLink, which will take users either to the Apple or Google Play store on their device.

For upgraded app packages: We can do a Facebook app integration to feed better data back to Facebook for event tracking. Email [email protected] to set this up.

YouTube

Similarly, run the ads to your OneLink, retargeting people who have watched a video on your YouTube channel or related videos. Film a custom video talking about the app, how it's free to get started, and what features are included.

Tip: Test running the ad directly to the app versus directly to a landing page with a free trial. For subscription apps, encourage users to enter their credit card to start.

Apple App Store

Here’s the link to get started. Run ads on keywords related to your app. This will allow your app to show up as a “sponsored app”.

Other Options

You can try running ads on TikTok or X (formerly Twitter).
