Description

Privacy Policy basically outlines what you will do with user data and personal information. Terms of Use (also called Terms & Conditions or Terms of Service) outline what a person is agreeing to when using your offered service, i.e. users may not receive XYZ services if they behave in a certain way towards your business or others through the website/app. These are both standard documents for any website/app to legally protect you as a business.

Instructions

Add both your Terms of Service & Privacy Policy links to your website (they are separate sets of language) and share these links in your Basecamp project.

How to Obtain

You can use a free online generator for Privacy Policy & Terms of Use language, or talk to your lawyer about producing these documents. Specifically your privacy policy needs to reflect the possible collection of personal information (eg. name, physical address, email address, phone number) as well as submitted images and videos.

Templates

We have a partnership with Autumn Witt Boyd, founder & attorney at AWB Firm, since we work with so many small businesses that often don't have their own source of legal support. You can read more about AWB firm here.
